At ERL, we are proud to be involved in the recycling industry, having designed and manufactured our own recycling and waste compactors fitted with the latest technology controllers and a range of safety features.
You will find our balers in multiple locations throughout New Zealand, and some of the islands including Rarotonga and the Chatham Islands.
Our recycling balers are designed to produce export quality bales of plastics, cardboard, paper and cans (see our brochure).
Our Waste balers have been designed to reduce the size of general rubbish by up to 20:1, increasing the life of a landfill considerably and minimizing or preventing the need to use landfill cover.
As the general rubbish comes in, it can either be sorted to remove any recyclable contents or go straight into the baler to be compacted into blocks approximately 850mm x 850mm x 1300mm in size, weighing up to 600kg.
